This Emblem is the symbol of the 9th World Congress on Sleep Apnea.
The large ¡°S¡± in calligraphy in the middle came from the first letter of Seoul and Sleep.
It also represents the shape of human nose. The elements of the emblem together bring up a smiling face which welcomes the colleagues and friends from all over the world.

The Korean Society of Sleep Medicine founded 2006 aims to encourage international collaborations, facilitate the generation and dissemination of information, and increase public awareness of the importance of sleep research and the impact of sleep disorders. The KSSM represents more than 600 sleep scientists, physicians, and trainees in Korea. Its many functions include the organization of domestic and international scientific meetings, as well as acting in an advisory capacity to government and industry.
